FRAMINGHAM — The Board of License Commissioners approved midnight closing for the Brass Tap and new hours for Pueblito Paisa. Vice Chairman Joseph Sturniolo presided with Chair Stuart Pologe absent. Both hours changes passed 4-0.
Brass Tap owner Anir Patel, at 770 Water Street, first asked to close at 11:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, but accepted Commissioner Laura Medrano's suggestion of midnight every day. The approval is pending a revised application to licensing coordinator Michael Royce and city inspections.
One commissioner said, "I don't like amending applications on the fly," but voted yes. The board continued the Chef Louie's hearing to Aug. 24 over building department permit concerns.
