License Board Approves Aztec, Cape Cod Coffee Licenses

Board of License Commission · Meeting of September 28, 2026

FRAMINGHAM — The Framingham Board of License Commissioners voted 3-0 to continue Space Cafe's new common victualer license hearing to October 19 after members said the floor plan did not clearly show the partition separating the planned restaurant from an adjoining clothing store at 121 Concord Street. One member said that when the applicant demonstrated the partition on camera, "he just walked from one space to the other, so no, it doesn't" resolve the safety concern. The board separately approved, 3-0, a change of manager and hours for the Aztec Restaurant at 2 Waverly Street, naming Dulce Guerrero-Green manager following a 2025 one-day license suspension.

It also approved, 4-0, a new license for Cape Cod Coffee at 770 Water Street with hours of 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., pending final plumbing and electrical inspections the owners expected within days.
