Traffic Commission · Meeting of April 28, 2026

Framingham's Traffic Commission approved four-space EV charging on Arthur Street and an all-way stop at Danforth and Cottage streets. Sustainability Coordinator Sean Laws said the Arthur Street spaces would sit at least 20 feet from the Bishop Street intersection, with approval subject to final engineering. Members voted 7-0 to make the Russell Road no-turn sign permanent, after resident Bruce Chapman said it works only when police are present.

The commission also approved $2,098.50 for 30 signposts from Permaline Corp, leaving roughly $11,000 of a $13,206 operating balance. A petition for speed cushions on Singletary Lane and Jody Road drew 24 signatures.
