Framingham Baseball opens fall ball registration as youth hockey sets a mandatory coaches meeting.

FRAMINGHAM -- Youth sports news was light this week, with the borough's two largest youth programs turning attention toward the fall and the 2026-27 winter season.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Framingham Baseball, Inc. announced on its website that fall ball registration is now open. The organization, which fields more than 500 Framingham youths on over 50 teams, did not post a registration deadline on its site.

Framingham Youth Hockey Program (FYHP) has scheduled a mandatory coaches meeting for Aug. 27 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 55 Park Street, Framingham, from 7 to 9 p.m., according to the program's website, as the group begins preparing for the 2026-27 season. FYHP's online team store, which reopened for jersey and apparel orders after the original ordering deadline passed, remains open; the program says jersey orders now take approximately six to eight weeks for delivery.
