Framingham Youth Hockey says two of its teams won VHL championship games, and the program's online store is open again for jersey orders.

FRAMINGHAM -- Framingham had limited reported sports activity for the week of Aug. 3-9, with no Framingham High School games on the ArbiterLive schedule and no dated updates from Patch's local sports feed. The week's news comes from youth hockey.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Framingham Youth Hockey Program (FYHP) congratulated its Jr. Flyers 10U Blue team and its Winter Midget team for "winning their VHL Championship Games," according to the program's website. FYHP also said its team store "has reopened and is once again accepting orders" for families who missed the original uniform ordering deadline, noting that jersey orders placed going forward are expected to take approximately six to eight weeks for delivery. The program's calendar also lists a mandatory coaches meeting for Aug. 27 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 55 Park St., Framingham, from 7 to 9 p.m.
