The City of Framingham announced Oct. 4 that the Department of Public Works will hold curbside brush collection during the week of Oct. 19, 2026.

According to the announcement, brush will be picked up on each resident's regular trash collection day during that week.

The city set guidelines for what can be collected. Branches must be 4 inches or less in diameter and 4 feet or shorter in length. Logs and stumps will not be collected. Brush must be bundled and tied at the curb, or placed in containers labeled "yard waste" or in brown biodegradable bags.
