Framingham youth sports groups spent the week pointing families toward open registrations and gear orders rather than new game action.

FRAMINGHAM -- With no Framingham High School games on the schedule this period, per ArbiterLive, and no new items from Patch's Framingham sports coverage, the week's activity centered on youth league sign-ups.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Framingham Baseball's summer season registration remains open, according to the league's website. The organization says it provides an opportunity for more than 500 Framingham youths on more than 50 teams, run by a volunteer board of directors.

Framingham Youth Hockey, which fields co-ed Jr. Flyers teams from 8U to 18U and Lady Flyers teams for girls and non-binary players from 8U to 19U, has reopened its team store for families who missed the original uniform-ordering deadline. The league says jerseys and other gear ordered now are expected to take approximately six to eight weeks for delivery, and it is encouraging families who need jerseys for the start of the season to order as soon as possible. Questions about orders should be directed to Athletes Closet, the league said. Framingham Youth Hockey's board is next scheduled to meet July 23 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles hall on Park Street in Framingham.

Framingham Youth Lacrosse's posted schedule shows its spring Classic Program games concluded in June, with no new dates listed for this period.
