FRAMINGHAM — The City of Framingham has opened applications for the second annual Framingham FEST, a community festival set for October, with a fast-approaching deadline for anyone hoping to run a booth at the event.

TOWN HALL

The city announced this week that applications are open for the second annual Framingham FEST in October. Vendors and entertainers looking to take part had until August 15 to apply, but the deadline to apply for a general festival booth remains open through Monday, August 31, giving prospective participants a final few days to sign up.

Separately, the city launched a survey asking residents to weigh in on a redesign of the city's website. Officials are collecting community feedback through the online survey, which closes Sunday, September 6, at 11:59 p.m.
