Family Trusts Dominate Framingham Property Transfers as Sales Prices Vary Widely
The South Middlesex Registry of Deeds recorded 19 Framingham property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only seven listed a sale price, ranging from $535,000 to $897,500 with a median of $776,000. The month's top sale was 13 Hamilton St. at $897,500, followed by 77 Barber Road at $860,000. Twelve transfers, most moving property into family trusts or between relatives, did not disclose a price. No street saw more than one sale. With fewer than half of transfers reflecting a disclosed price, the data offers a limited read on buyer demand this period.
